Farewell To Captain Eldon Kirkconnell
On Saturday, July 1st, the Church of God Chapel in George Town, Grand Cayman saw the gathering of family, friends, government officials, and supporters as the nation came together to say their goodbyes to Captain Eldon Kirkconnell. Captain Kirkconnell, a former member of the Cayman Islands Legislative Assembly and Executive Council, was honoured with an official funeral organized by the Cayman Islands Government. Premier Hon. Wayne Panton and Parliamentary Secretary Heather Bodden, alongside Captain Kirkconnell's family, paid their heartfelt tributes during the ceremony.
